Students and school officials extolled the value of brushing oneself off and trying again when life’s obstacles get in the way during a graduation ceremony Thursday for students at Daily High School, Verdugo Academy and AdvancePath Academy. Minutes before more than 500 Hoover High School graduates walked onto the school’s athletic field, Principal Kevin Welsh found time for one last lesson to the class of 2008.
