Officials say they have ruled out any signs of foul play in the death of a local transient, whose body was discovered Saturday behind a dumpster on Pacific Avenue.
The transient, identified as 50-year-old David Gomez, was discovered by an employee who works in a building in the 800 block of North Pacific Avenue, Glendale Police Sgt. Tom Lorenz said.
Residents who live nearby told police that Gomez “was a local transient who drank a lot of alcohol,” Lorenz added.
Gomez reportedly died of natural causes, although the exact cause of death remained under investigation, officials said.
