Authorities are looking for a 44-year-old man who they say is responsible for a series of commercial robberies throughout the Los Angeles region, including one in Glendale.

A felony arrest warrant has been issued for Joseph Fred Clark, who authorities believe committed several robberies in October in Carson, Harbor City, Torrance, North Hollywood and Glendale, according to Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.

He reportedly used a handgun to commit some of the robberies.

At 9:28 a.m. on Oct. 15, Clark entered CK Food Store in the 500 block of South Verdugo Road in Glendale and asked the clerk for coins in exchange for a dollar bill, Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot said.

As the clerk opened the cash register, Clark allegedly reached over the counter, into the register and stole cash.

He exited the store and was last seen entering a silver or beige Dodge Ram 1500 pick-up truck with an extended cab parked on the street west of the store.

Sheriff’s officials warn that Clark should be considered armed and dangerous.

They urged anyone who has seen him to immediately call law enforcement authorities.

He is described as 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing 230 pounds and has tattoos that cover his arms.

Anyone with details about Clark may call the Carson Sheriff’s Station at (310) 830-1123. To remain anonymous, call Los Regional Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477 or send a text message saying “TIPLA” with any details to 274637.
