Police arrested a 16-year-old Los Angeles boy Sunday after he allegedly broke into a Toyota car dealership in Glendale and hid under a vehicle.
A nearby resident called police at 9:51 p.m. after hearing glass break near the dealership in the 1300 block of South Brand Boulevard.
The resident saw the boy entering the car lot and then exit a broken door, according to Glendale police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot. Police didn't release the boy's name because he's a minor.
The boy reportedly ran through the broken door again, but quickly exited when officers arrived at the lot.
Officers saw him and began chasing him in the area of Magnolia and Central avenues, she said.
But they eventually found him hiding under a vehicle, Lightfoot added.
The boy was arrested on suspicion of burglary. He was later taken to the Central Juvenile Hall in Los Angeles.
