The suspect, 31-year-old Michael Sahakian, pulled into a 76 gas station in the 1000 block of north Pacific Avenue and parked his car by the door of the mini mart, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
Sahakian then walked into the mini mart and began yelling the name of an employee at the station that he could not locate, Lightfoot said.
He then left the location with the keys still in the ignition of his vehicle and returned about 30 minutes later riding a blue bicycle that he tossed through the front window of the gas station, shattering the glass, Lightfoot said.
Police were called and Sahakian was taken into custody at the scene.
He is being held in lieu of $10,000 bail.
