DreamWorks Animation marketing chief Anne Globe has resigned from her job after 17 years with the Glendale-based studio.

DreamWorks Animation Chief Executive Jeffrey Katzenberg told his staff Monday morning that Globe had "made the decision to leave DreamWorks Animation to start her own consulting business."
 
Globe held various positions at DreamWorks, overseeing the marketing of feature films, television series and theatrical productions. Calling her a "talented and creative executive," Katzenberg credited Globe for building relationships with such partners as McDonald's, Intel, General Mills and Nickelodeon.
