At 9:20 p.m., officers responded to the Disney Baby store, where San Diego residents Kelly Craig, 41, and Athena Craig, 20, purchased an item with a fake $100 bill, said Glendale Police spokeswoman Tahnee Lightfoot.
The clerk contacted Americana security and the women were later located near Kenwood and Colorado streets by police officers, she said.
As officers approached Kelly Craig, she dropped a small vial allegedly containing a white crystal substance that, with testing, was determined to be methamphetamine.
An additional $200 worth of counterfeit money was found on Athena Craig.
Both suspects were arrested on suspicion of burglary and possession of counterfeit money.
Kelly Craig was also charged with possession of methamphetamine.
