Police on Monday found a missing Glendale girl, who is 16 years old and 7 1/2 months pregnant, at a family member’s home after she disappeared with her two sisters on Friday.
Joyce Lubrin, described as a chronic runaway, was safe and healthy at the family member’s home, according to Glendale police. The Los Angeles County of Department of Children and Family Services placed her with an aunt.
Her sisters — Kealani Lubrin, 15, and Ashley Lubrin, 13 — were found late Saturday after the mother of a friend of the girls saw a TV report about police searching for them and called authorities. The two sisters were missing for at least 30 hours, police said.
The three sisters didn’t have their cell phones or money with them when they went missing, police said.
They were reportedly hanging out a mall, then walked around the city until going to a friend’s house.
Investigators talked to the girls’ friends and family members throughout Los Angeles County during their search.
