Five men were cited and released Thursday during an undercover prostitution sting in Glendale, police said.

Few details about the sting were released, but it occurred between noon and 4 p.m. at two locations — one on Colorado Street and another on Victory Boulevard, according Glendale police officials.

The men reportedly were arrested on suspicion of soliciting prostitution after engaging with female Glendale officers who posed as sex workers, police said.

One of the five men was also arrested on suspicion of possessing drug paraphernalia.

The men were released at the scene.
