Extensive angioplasty experience lands local hospital honors
Going through the groin, Hugo Riffel-Dalinger, M.D., F.A.C.C., performs two angioplasties on a patient's Circumflex coronary artery with balloon-tipped catheters at Glendale Adventist Medical Center in Glendale on Friday, August 20, 2010. The interventional cardiologist performs this procedure daily. The hospital was recently designated as a Blue Distinction Center for Cardiac Care by Blue Shield of California.
