Holy Family 5, Sacred Heart of Jesus 2: Down two in the top of the seventh inning, the Gaels rallied for five runs in the final half inning en route to a Horizon League win on Thursday afternoon.

Junior pitcher Amy Brennan drove in the winning run for the Gaels (4-10, 3-4) when she plated Sabrina Rufino with a single. Holy Family’s rally began with a bunt single from Harmony Corona.

Junior third baseman Ginnes Paladini was three for five for Holy Family, while Brennan went the distance for the win, allowing two runs on five hits with six strikeouts.

Crescenta Valley 24, Muir 0 (five innings): It was a homer fest for the Falcons in a Pacific League home win on Thursday afternoon.

Senior outfielder Hannah Cookson connected on a two-run homer in the first inning and a three-run homer in the second for the Falcons (14-11, 7-5), who also received a three-run homer from Taylor Hill in the second inning.

Glendale 15, Pasadena 4 (five innings): The Nitros improved to 15-6 and 7-5 in the Pacific League with Thursday's league win.

Sarah Brockway had three hits, two runs batted in and two runs scored, Alex Howard had three hits, including a triple, a walk, three RBI and a stolen base and Sammy Fabian had two hits, including a triple, a walk, three runs, two RBI and a stolen base.

Louisville 2, Flintridge Sacred Heart Academy 1: The Tologs battled, but couldn’t overcome a two-run hole in a Mission League road loss on Thursday afternoon.

Senior first baseman Lali Ortiz drove in a run for the Tologs (11-10, 0-8).

Hanna Zika went the distance for the Tologs, allowing two runs (one earned) on four hits.

Webb 11, Flintridge Prep 1 (six innings): The Rebels fells in a Prep League home contest at the Glendale Sports Complex on Thursday afternoon.

Freshman Ellie Levy went two for two with a run batted in, while Drew Montgomery scored the lone run for the Rebels (6-14, 2-9) in the fourth inning.

Burbank 12, Hoover 0 (five innings): The Tornadoes were no-hit in a shortened Pacific League game at home on Thursday afternoon.

With the defeat, Hoover dropped to 6-13, 2-10 in league.
