  1. Marti A. Engele Sept. 2, 1933-Oct. 19, 2012

    Marti A. Engele In Memoriam September 2, 1933 – October 19, 2012 Marti Engele passed away peacefully on October 19, 2012 while recuperating from surgery and is now with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born and educated in Portland, Oregon and resided in Burbank for over 45 years. She attended Church on the Way in Van Nuys and the Burbank Foursquare Church. Marti was a teacher and program coordinator to individuals with special needs at BCR “a place to grow” for 35 years. Marti is survived by her sister Ruth Shaughnessy, niece Laurie Bigoni, nephews James Dean, Bruce Dean, Steven Dean, and their spouses and children. A family memorial service will be held in Portland and a day celebrating her life will be held at BCR.
