    What a well-thought-out and concise article written by Brian Crosby on the GUSD school calendar. He masterfully lays out a logical plan that would balance the school days before and after the holiday break and put GUSD back in sync with surrounding communities who start later than GUSD. I agree with Crosby's proposal to hold a meeting of school board members, PTA presidents and teacher’s union presidents for both GUSD and BUSD to compile some calendar options that would then be sent to the both districts' parents for a vote.
