I think we can all agree we must do more and do better in serving our youngest learners, and that includes providing them with a strong educational foundation. All children deserve a high-quality early learning environment that nurtures development and a love of learning. As the governor and Legislature consider the 2014-15 budget, we must seize this chance to invest in high-quality programs that give all children the fair start they deserve.
