  1. Unclassified Info: My life as a vegan

A funny thing happened on the way to my weekly column. I was sitting at Whole Foods enjoying my new morning ritual of tea, gathering my thoughts and jotting down some notes to tell you all about my first eight days as a hardcore vegan. My personal...

Back in the day, the only reason I'd visit Tony's Darts Away in Burbank was to see a fight, and I'm not talking about a boxing match on TV. I'm happy to report that urban renewal in our city has extended to Magnolia Boulevard, and the "New Tony's" is a cleaner, healthier, cooler place to visit now that new management is running the show.

  13. Get juiced!

It's easy to forget that food is about more than taste. We have four other senses, each of which can play a role in how we perceive what we eat. 23. Sugar may make you stupid -- talk about adding insult to injury

Sugar <a href=&quot;http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dBnniua6-oM">creates addicts</a> out of us. It tempts us, wears down our willpower and keeps us coming back for more. Yup, just like cigarettes, which, you know, come with warning labels.
