"I was waiting to pick up a rental car when I saw an X-shaped streetlight in the parking lot, and I could see an incoming aircraft around the same time," he said. "I didn't have time to grab my SLR out of my bag, so I composed it on my iPhone 5 instead." Holmes processed this image using Snapseed.
